independent band promos…

the coincidence of me sending a box of promo CDs to Sarah Morrison from the UK music site insomnia radio, and then finding this post about who to send promos to on newmusicstrategies.com was a little too…coincidental…for me NOT to post on the blog about it. i’ll elaborate later, but quickly:
-we just started the promotion for MorningSide’s new album “The Abuse You Own”
-had a private listening party to get some early feedback
-got the track “Alone In Your Grave” reviewed by insomnia radio (read it here!) and included in their daily dose
-found newmusicstrategies.com through twitter.
twitter continues to connect us with more people than we’ve ever come across before as a band.
so, we’ve finally gotten the ball rolling. 4 tracks from the new album are streaming on our myspace and facebook pages.
